Food is not merely sustenance — it is the deepest act of telling someone they belong here.
Zuri was born from a simple conviction: that East African cuisine deserves the same reverence the world gives to French or Japanese tradition. We opened our doors in Westlands in 2016 with a small kitchen, a shorter menu, and an uncompromising belief that Nairobi was ready for something different.
Our kitchen draws from the full breadth of the East African table — Swahili coast spice routes, highland farm produce, coastal seafood, Maasai-influenced preparations — interpreted with modern technique and plated with the restraint of a fine dining house that trusts its ingredients.
Every dish tells you where it came from. Every evening here is unhurried. Come as you are, leave changed.
We keep the room intimate by design. Book in advance — same-week walk-ins are rare, and we want your evening to be unhurried.
Our Ivory Room seats up to 18 guests for private events, corporate dinners, and intimate celebrations. Bespoke menus available on request. Contact us for availability and arrangements.
